Job - Java/J2EE Technical Manager 

DUTIES:
Manage and supervise team of senior/mid and entry level Java/J2EE developers and guide them towards the successful implementation of software applications. Support the delivery of high quality customer solutions in adherence to methodology working with business team; Lead team in the development of logical and physical database schemas, stored procedures, interfaces (in Java or XML), and extensions to customer proprietary solutions; Provide technical depth concerning solutions and best practices in discussions with customers, partners and internal resources; Facilitate discussions and drive team toward quick decisions; Supervise team in Web service design and development using expertise with EJB/Swing/Eclipse; Actively encourage developers to identify reusable code and communicate value to the business; Capture development processes and decisions to ensure knowledge sharing; Work with customers on integration; Develop conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms; Create and execute plans, revising as necessary to meet the demands of team and project and ensure appropriate design patterns are applied; Take appropriate personnel actions as required for subordinate team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Science, Engineering or a related field of study. 1 year of experience in related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Science, Engineering or related field of study and 5 years of progressive work experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. Academic coursework or experience must have included: Asynchronous messages; thread pools/multithreading; Web technologies like Struts or JSF; build scripts such as ANT or Maven, Web Services and an application server, such as Web sphere, web logic or JBOSS. Any suitable combination of education, experience and/or training accepted.

Cumming, GA and various unanticipated locations

WORK HOURS:
40 hours/week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
